Teresa Ereira
Portuguese Teacher
Teresa was born and raised in Cascais, coming from a large family, she had contact with many children from an early age, which led her to develop a taste for this magical phase of development.
Passionate about people, she always knew that her mission would involve relationships. She graduated in law and specialized in Family Mediation. For many years she worked in the Child Protection System, where she worked directly with children and families in vulnerable situations.
In parallel, she began taking on writing projects, having already published some short stories. Reading and writing are another of Teresa's passions. Perhaps due to her love for literature, and pedagogy in general, for the past 3 years, in addition to her training in Family Therapy, Teresa has been teaching Portuguese to foreigners, either in collaboration with schools or privately. Being able to teach our language and culture has been a very rewarding and creative challenge.
Mother of two teenagers, Teresa loves the ocean, and in her free time she likes to travel with her family, to read, and whenever she can she escapes to Alentejo to spend time in the countryside where animals, and in particular the family's two dogs, are always present.
