Rhiannon Hastings
Adolescent Programme Guide - English and Humanities

Born in the U.K. into a military family, Rhiannon spent her formative years travelling before settling back in her home country of Wales. There, she completed a BA (Hons) in English and earned a PGCE in Secondary English with Drama in 2008. Her teaching career has spanned a diverse range of educational settings, from online ESL teaching and in a Pupil Referral Unit to serving as Head of Curriculum and Learning at an emerging online international school. During her tenure, she led the school through successful JCQ accreditation and ESTYN and OFSTED inspections.

Driven by a passion for global education, Rhiannon relocated to the United States, where she developed the English curriculum for the Cambridge International Board at an International Language Immersion School and prepared students for the IGCSE. Moving on to teach at a private Catholic high school, where she has always been committed to delivering a holistic education that fosters faith, encourages excellence, cultivates servant leadership, affirms human dignity, and promotes global social justice.

Outside the classroom, Rhiannon enjoys running with her dogs, and racing competitively, and is a certified yoga instructor.
