Margarida is a Portuguese artist, teacher and a passionate mother of two young boys.  Margarida has a degree in Drawing from the Fine-Arts Faculty of the University of Lisbon and a second degree, from the same University, in painting, which allowed her to expand her artistic practice to new fields such as painting, engraving, mosaic, glass and sculpture. She also developed a keen interest for ceramics, textile, architecture, history of art and psychology of art. 

Coming from a family of six, Margarida has always had a passion for children and started babysitting from a young age. She has previously worked as a private teacher of descriptive geometry, drawing and History of Art. In addition to her passion for art, teaching and children, Margarida loves to read, spend time with her family and to learn about neuroscience, parenting and personal development.
