Kartika Harsono

Kartika was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a Master’s degree in Food Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA, and also holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Prasetiya Mulya School of Business in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Before moving to Cascais, she worked as an Adolescent Guide in Bali, Jakarta, and Tokyo. Her path to the classroom included co-owning a furniture business and a restaurant before she completed the AMI Orientation to Adolescent Studies in Brisbane, Australia, and later earned her AMI Adolescent Diploma.

In her spare time, Kartika enjoys gardening—especially growing orchids—cooking, and exploring new places.
