Isabel Borba
Children’s House Guide
Isabel Borba is a Montessori 3–6 guide with a background in Social Work. She holds a degree in Serviço Social from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and trained as a Montessori 3–6 Guide, with teaching practice at a Montessori school in Toronto.
She started out as a classroom assistant, working within the Children's House, and later became a Supportive Guide, presenting materials to children and following their progress and development.
Before working in Montessori, Isabel worked with children in vulnerable situations, including through a social work placement and internship, an experience that sparked a lasting passion for understanding childhood development.
Outside the classroom, Isabel has a love of music, which brings a sense of rhythm and joy to her daily life. She enjoys learning and continuing to grow as a Montessori guide.
