Father Simão Cruz Ferreira
School Chaplain

Born and raised in Oeiras, between Cascais and Lisbon, Father Simão began discerning his vocation at the Lisbon Pre-Seminary. Summer camps and the EJNS were among the means through which God guided him on this journey. After a year of exchange studies in South Carolina, USA, and another year studying Mechanical Engineering at IST in Lisbon, he entered the Lisbon diocesan seminary and was ordained a priest on 29 June 2025. His first appointment was as parish vicar in Cascais.

Father Simão enjoys sports, especially soccer, travelling and, most of all, reading a good book.
