Bryony Thomas
Elementary Farm Guide

Bryony is originally from Wales, UK, and has over ten years of experience working with children across a variety of educational settings. Her approach to teaching is strongly influenced by Montessori principles, with a particular focus on following each child’s interests, encouraging independence and creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

Having worked in both England and the Middle East, including in a small farm and forest school setting, Bryony has developed a deep passion for outdoor education and learning through nature. Growing up surrounded by the outdoors, she has always had a love of animals and enjoys creating opportunities for children to explore, discover and connect with the natural world.

Alongside her role as an Elementary Farm Guide, Bryony will also support children with English as an Additional Language. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where children feel confident to communicate, explore and develop their language skills naturally through everyday experiences.

Outside of school, Bryony enjoys spending time outdoors with her two young children, aged five and two. As a family, they love cycling, visiting the beach, exploring nature and making the most of life outdoors in Portugal. She is excited to bring her experience, enthusiasm for outdoor learning and love of working with children to the Kairos community.
