Ana Istúriz Hernández-Coronado
Upper Elementary Assistant

Ana is from Madrid. She studied Education at Universidad Villanueva, then completed a Master's degree in Spanish Teaching for Speakers of Other Languages and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Classical Education and Humanities. Her research interests include children's literature and character education.

Whilst studying, she had the opportunity to travel to the U.S. and complete an internship in two elementary schools and a middle school. Additionally, she has worked in Madrid in three different Catholic schools, where she taught Spanish, math, religion, and drama. At her previous school, where she worked for four years, she led a mountaineering group for children aged 12–18.

Ana loves making the most of the summer by going on Catholic missions to remote places like Benin, India, and Peru. During the school year, she enjoys reading and writing, going for walks, visiting new places, and hanging out with her friends and family.
